Ličko Petrovo Selo is a village situated near the state border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, having some 220 inhabitants of whom almost three quarters are older than 70 years old. The Citizens Association was founded in 2004 to bring local people together with the purpose of preserving traditional values and culture. Diligent women whose hands seem never to grow tired make original knitted or woven goods and many other products made of homespun wool. The Citizens Association participates each year in various local and international fairs and exhibitions and is also very well promoted by mass media. Visit them and you will be amazed by their warm hospitality and a rich offer of authentic homemade goods preserved from being forgotten.
